A Pavilion for the Future
We want to create a modern, welcoming Pavilion that will transform the Towersey Playing Fields into a thriving hub for sport, wellbeing, and community life. This new building will not only replace the condemned clubhouse but also reimagine what our 7-acre site can offer to everyone in Towersey and the surrounding area.
Why It Matters
Right now, we face a “perfect storm”: ageing facilities on one side, and on the other, growing demand for accessible, high-quality spaces for sport and community activities. Without new investment, the Playing Fields risk becoming unsustainable.
By building the Pavilion, we will:
- Secure the long-term future of the Playing Fields.
- Provide first-rate, inclusive facilities for sport, clubs, and social activities.
- Create opportunities for wellbeing, connection, and fun.
- Generate income to keep the site self-sufficient and well-maintained.
